Choose Your Pedicure Training Level
Foundation is a 2-day course for nail technicians with at least 6 months of E-file experience. Advanced training is a 1- or 2-day course for pedicure technicians with at least 6 months of experience working with clients.
2-Day Russian Pedicure Course
This option is for nail technicians who already have at least 6 months of E-file experience and want to learn the full dry pedicure service step by step. You’ll work through foot assessment, heel care, toe preparation, and the final finish.
Advanced Pedicure Training — 1 or 2 Days
This training is for pedicure technicians who have worked with clients for at least 6 months. We focus on the areas you want to improve, whether that is E-file control, heel care, toe preparation, gel application, service timing, or the way you move through the appointment.
Equipment, E-file bits, tools, and professional products are provided for in-class training.
What Students Learn in Russian Pedicure Training
Dry & Waterless Workflow
Work through the service from the first look at the feet to dry preparation, heel care, toe preparation, and product application.
E-File Pedicure Control
You’ll work with different E-file bits and practice adjusting your pressure, angle, and speed for different areas of the foot. The instructor will watch your work and point out what to adjust.
Sanitation & Cosmetic Scope
We’ll go over station setup, disposable supplies, and proper tool handling. You’ll also learn when a client’s condition is outside the scope of a cosmetic pedicure.
Russian Pedicure Training & Results
What Happens During the 2-Day Foundation Course
The Foundation course is taught over two full days. You’ll first watch the technique, then practice it on a model, make corrections with the instructor, and work through the service from start to finish. Advanced training is planned separately as a 1- or 2-day format for working pedicure technicians.
Dry Workflow, Assessment & E-File Control
Dry and waterless workflow, cosmetic foot assessment, sanitation setup, disposable materials, pressure and angle control, RPM awareness, bit selection, and instructor demonstration.
Model Work, Corrections & Finishing
Day 2 is more hands-on. You’ll work on heel care and toe preparation, practice the nail-fold area and gel application, and get corrections from the instructor as you go. We also cover service timing, contraindications, and the final finish.
Certificate of Completion
After completing the course, you’ll receive a Mars Nails School Certificate of Completion. This is a school certificate, not a New York State Nail Specialty License. The training is limited to cosmetic pedicure services and does not qualify students to diagnose or treat medical conditions or provide medical pedicure services.
