Students receive a Mars Nails School Certificate of Completion after completing their course. It documents skill-focused training at Mars Nails School and is not a New York State Nail Specialty License. State licensing is a separate legal requirement for professional nail specialty work in New York.

Can I take a course if I’m a beginner?
Yes. If you are starting from zero, the Beginner Russian Manicure Course is the place to start. No previous nail or E-file experience is required.
Pedicure, advanced manicure, and nail extension training are for students who already have some hands-on experience.
How much experience do I need?
Foundation Pedicure requires at least 6 months of E-file experience. Advanced Pedicure and Advanced Russian Gel Manicure are for nail technicians with at least 6 months of experience working with clients.
Gel Nail Extensions is an Intermediate+ course, so you should already be comfortable with basic manicure prep and gel application.
