Who This Gel Nail Extension Course Is For
This class is for nail technicians who have been working with clients for at least 6 months. You should already be comfortable with nail prep, an E-file, and basic gel application.
This is not a beginner manicure course. We start with the skills you already use with clients and focus on extension work: form placement, gel control, structure, shaping, filing, and correction.

How the Two Days Are Structured
Day 1 is about planning and building the extension. On Day 2, you’ll correct the structure, work through the filing process, refine the shape, and bring the nail to a finished salon result.
Form Placement, Mapping & Building
We start by looking at the natural nail and choosing the right form position. You’ll practice extension mapping, form placement, gel control, and building a stable structure with the correct balance and shape.
Correction, Filing & Final Shape
Day 2 is focused on correcting the structure, refining the shape, and finishing the extension. You’ll file the set, make adjustments where needed, and get feedback from the instructor as you work.
Gel Nail Extension Course Price
Tuition is $1,700 for the full two-day course. Mars Nails School arranges the models, and the equipment, tools, and professional products used during class are provided. A Certificate of Completion is also included.
Course dates are available by request. To enroll, you must have at least 6 months of professional nail experience.
Certificate: After completing the course, you’ll receive a Mars Nails School Certificate of Completion. This is a school certificate, not a New York State Nail Specialty License, and it does not replace state licensing requirements.
